Project Solutions Inc. is seeking a Project On-Site Manager to support the US Army Corps of Engineers on the New Lock at the Soo project in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.

The role provides independent QA oversight of mass concrete construction, ensuring contractor work complies with contract drawings, specifications, and USACE quality standards. Responsibilities include field inspections, concrete testing, documentation, and coordination with USACE QA and contractor QC teams.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC on concrete placement projects.
• Familiarity with reading construction plans and specs.
• Experience on USACE or heavy industrial projects required; residential not relevant.
• Must pass federal background check and hold OSHA-30 training.

Responsabilidades

• Provide independent QA oversight for the Mass Concrete DFOW in the New Lock Chamber project.
• Ensure contractor work complies with contract drawings and USACE standards.
• Coordinate with contractor QC, safety, and USACE QA personnel.
• Attend meetings and document discussions and decisions.
• Review project docs: specs, drawings, RFIs, submittals, ECIFP.
