Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is hiring for an on-site role at Children’s Minnesota – Minneapolis Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. The position involves reviewing uninsured patients for Medicaid eligibility, coordinating the application process, and guiding patients through documentation requirements.

You will collaborate with Medicaid caseworkers and internal teams to ensure timely processing and accurate billing. Minimum 1–2 years of healthcare experience with patients, a High School diploma or GED,

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in healthcare industries interacting with patients about hospital financial issues.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CRCR certification to be earned within 9 months of hire.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle, insurance processes, authorizations and benefits verification.

Responsibilities

• Review uninsured/under-insured patients for program eligibility and coordinate the application process.
• Communicate with patients to obtain required documents for applications.
• Monitor submitted applications through determination and ensure timely billing or adjustments.
• Document all actions in patient accounting systems and maintain up-to-date information.
• Stay current with state and federal program requirements and share updates with colleagues.
• Develop relationships with Medicaid caseworkers and other revenue cycle teams.
• Other duties as assigned.
