Job summary

Lutheran Child and Family Services (LCFS) is seeking an experienced Housing Coordinator to oversee our 30-unit Permanent Supportive Housing program in Indianapolis, IN. This leadership role combines operations, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and resident support to help individuals achieve long-term housing stability.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work or comparable field with direct service delivery experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or comparable field with several years of direct service delivery experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in supportive housing, homeless services, or case management.
• Experience with program coordination and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housing operations and supervise program staff.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, Continuum of Care (CoC), and Housing First standards.
• Coordinate resident services, engagement, and crisis response.
• Maintain HMIS/ETO documentation, reporting, and audit readiness.
• Build partnerships with property management and community service providers.
• Monitor program performance, budgets, and opportunities for improvement.
