Job summary

Lutheran Child and Family Services (LCFS) in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced Housing Coordinator to oversee our 30-unit Permanent Supportive Housing program. This leadership role combines program operations, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and resident support to help individuals achieve long-term housing stability.

You will manage daily operations, ensure HUD/CoC/Housing First compliance, coordinate resident services, document in HMIS, and build partnerships with property

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related field with 2+ years direct service experience.
• Or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field with 4+ years direct service experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in supportive housing, homelessness services, or case management.
• Experience with program coordination and compliance.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of HUD, CoC, and Housing First principles.
• Familiarity with HMIS or similar systems, or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housing operations and supervise program staff.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, Continuum of Care (CoC), and Housing First standards.
• Coordinate resident services, engagement, and crisis response.
• Maintain accurate HMIS/ETO documentation, reporting, and audit readiness.
• Build partnerships with property management and community service providers.
• Monitor program performance, budgets, and opportunities for improvement.
