Mercy Housing in San Francisco is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in day-to-day operations at an affordable housing community. You will handle rent collection, resident records, and leasing activities on-site, while ensuring compliance with HUD and tax credit requirements.

This on-site role requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate staff and resident engagement events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of administrative, office, accounting, or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws is a plus.
• Familiarity with real estate property management applications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Enter data in resident accounts receivable ledgers.
• Assist with resident records documentation.
• Collect rent and other income, make bank deposits, and forward receipts.
• Assist with leasing from application to move-in.
• Respond to customer service requests.
• May work outside normal hours to meet property needs.
