Job summary

Mercy Housing in Seattle, WA, is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Mercy Magnuson Place to support day-to-day operations and leasing at an affordable housing community.

You will work with the Property Manager to coordinate resident engagement, ensure compliance with HUD and Tax Credit programs, and deliver excellent customer service to residents and visitors onsite.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: 1 year of administrative, office, accounting, or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of real estate property management applications.
• HUD and Tax Credit experience is essential.
• Adhere to complex regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assists with resident records documentation.
• Collects rent and other income, makes bank deposits, and forwards receipts.
• Assists with the leasing process from initial application to move-in.
• Responds to customer services requests.
• May work outside normal business hours to respond to the needs of the property.

The successful Assistant Property Manager will work with the Property Manager in the day-to-day operations of the property. Strong understanding of HUD and Tax Credit experience are essential. You’ll provide customer service to residents and visitors, and take the initiative and provide direction to staff. Work with the Front Desk and Maintenance site teams and coordinate resident engagement and events.

This is an on-site position. Mercy Magnuson Place is an affordable housing apartment community in Seattle, WA.

Pay: $27-$30/hour, dependent on experience.
