Job summary

Storage Rentals of America is seeking a dedicated Property Manager for our Greensboro, NC facility. You will oversee daily on-site operations, from opening/closing the office to ensuring secure and presentable units and common areas, while delivering high-quality customer service in person and on the phone.

The role involves managing rentals, payments, tenant accounts, and inquiries, with a focus on occupancy, pricing, and revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Customer service and sales abilities, including relationship building, active listening, and handling inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Basic property operations skills, such as facility inspections, unit turn management, and coordination of routine maintenance or repairs.
• Administrative and organizational skills, including recordkeeping, payment processing, scheduling, and attention to detail with documentation.
• Comfort with technology, including point-of-sale systems, property management software, email, and common office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently on-site, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in self-storage, property management, retail, or hospitality is beneficial but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Open and close the office, maintain site cleanliness, and ensure units and common areas are secure and presentable.
• Provide customer service in person and by phone, assist with rentals and move-ins, process payments, manage tenant accounts, and handle inquiries.
• Monitor occupancy and pricing, support sales initiatives to meet revenue goals.
• Perform routine inspections, coordinate minor maintenance, work with vendors as needed, and prepare basic reports related to occupancy, collections, and property performance.
