Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community on-site in Summerville, SC. You will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, budgeting, and risk management to ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

This role requires strong leadership, excellent customer service, and the ability to develop marketing plans, monitor service requests, and manage vendor relations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of a housing community on-site under supervision of Regional Manager.
• Supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration & risk management to ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor rent collections and expenditures.
• Plan marketing and leasing strategies to optimize occupancy and resident retention.
• Lead emergency response and ensure timely service requests and quality repairs.
