Job summary

Nevada HAND is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Las Vegas, NV to support the Property Manager with daily operations of multi-unit affordable housing properties serving families and seniors. You will lease, screen applicants, manage rent collections, and assist with regulatory compliance.

Strong customer service, proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Outlook, and familiarity with Yardi are valued as you coordinate maintenance, inspections, notices, and resident relations to ensure compliant,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of customer service experience; property management/leasing a plus; LIHTC/HUD experience preferred.
• TCS or COS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; experience with Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Show, pre-qualify, lease, and move in prospective residents.
• Maintain excellent customer service with residents, vendors, co-workers, and community.
• Monitor rent collections and ensure compliance with landlord/tenant statutes.
• Assist with move-out statements and ensure compliance with state law and standards.
• Prepare move-in calendars and inspect apartments for compliance before occupancy.
• Assist with notices, evictions, and delinquency reporting.
• Coordinate maintenance work orders and turnover of vacant units.
• Communicate with owners, residents, vendors, and staff; handle complaints promptly.
