Job summary

CLK Multifamily Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our Clarksville community running smoothly and residents happy. You’ll handle interior and exterior repairs, respond to service requests, and prepare units for new residents.

EPA 608 certification is a plus; willingness to learn and basic tools knowledge are valued. Responsibilities include completing work orders, diagnosing plumbing/electrical issues, making general repairs, and performing routine property upkeep.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance, construction or handyman experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry and painting.
• HVAC experience or EPA 608 certification a plus.
• Able to use a smartphone and property management software to log and update work orders (required).

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders such as leaky faucets, door hinges, locks and appliance issues.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, toilets, sinks, tubs, showers and drains.
• Install and repair basic electrical wiring, outlets and switches.
• Make general repairs including drywall, carpentry and painting.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in including appliance, flooring and cabinet repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on the property's mechanical systems.
• During unit inspections, replace HVAC filters and check safety items.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities including trash, debris, pressure washing, painting curbs and signage.
