Job summary

Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Service Supervisor for Waterfront Apartments in Virginia Beach, VA. You will lead maintenance staff, implement preventive maintenance, and ensure units are ready for new move-ins while upholding safety and quality standards.

We value strong customer service, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. EPA and HVAC experience are highly regarded as part of our commitment to resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in multi-family property maintenance (preferred).
• EPA certification required (or obtain within 120 days of start via company-paid training).
• HVAC experience strongly preferred.
• CPO Certification and pool maintenance skills preferred.
• Knowledge of maintenance safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance staff by setting direction, priorities, and schedules.
• Maintain and execute a preventative maintenance program to minimize emergency repairs.
• Maintain community inventory, monitor purchase orders, and approve invoices.
• Ensure maintenance work orders are completed to high standards of quality and safety.
• Ensure apartments are move-in ready by conducting inspections and quality control.
• Meet with team regularly to discuss strengths and development opportunities.
• Interview and hire qualified candidates with Community Manager input.
• Collaborate with team to achieve goals and handle emergencies after hours.
