Job summary

InTown Suites in Houston is seeking a Property Attendant to maintain a safe, quiet, guest-ready environment on-site. You will be the emergency contact after hours and assist guests as needed while adhering to company policies.

This on-site role requires living on the property during employment, doing rounds, reporting safety issues, helping guests, and coordinating with the General Manager and Regional Operations Manager to keep the property secure.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret information found in a variety of internal hotel information.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in an efficient manner to interact with guests and staff.
• Ability to self-supervise and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Keep watch on the property when the office is closed.
• Reports any safety or security issues to the General Manager, or local authorities/emergency service providers if warranted.
• Respond to guest needs, complaints and/or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, both in person and on the phone after office hours.
• Establish good communication and professional relationships with property guests.
• Ensure that all storage and employee areas are secured nightly.
• Obtain guest list nightly to ensure that only authorized guests are allowed access to rooms and the property.
• Follow company procedures by verifying ID and providing access to rooms for guests who become locked out.
• Assist guests with minor maintenance issues.
• Document all rounds and any incidents on the Property Attendant Checklist.
