Job summary

RAM Construction Services in Michigan seeks a Project Manager in the New Work (Weatherproofing) Department to lead complex commercial restoration projects from pre‑construction through final completion. You will ensure on‑time, within‑budget delivery, and top‑quality client satisfaction while coordinating clients, subcontractors, field teams, and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience, strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and exceptional communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing construction projects (commercial, industrial, or weatherproofing preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction principles, methods, materials, and costs.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts.
• Develop project execution plans and kickoff meetings.
• Coordinate submittals, procurement schedules, and long lead items.
• Maintain baseline schedules and lookaheads.
• Direct day-to-day on-site activities and manage subcontractor performance.
• Maintain project budgets, forecasts, and job cost reports.
• Manage billing, change orders, and vendor invoices.
• Ensure safety and compliance with contract documents.
