Job summary

John Grace Restoration & Construction in Michigan is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple disaster restoration projects in the Lansing area. You will lead a small team, coordinate with homeowners, subcontractors, and vendors, and ensure projects are completed on time and within safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of construction experience and 2–3 years of leadership, strong organization, communication skills, and proficiency with project management systems.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to perform active job tasks (standing, walking, bending, kneeling, lifting 50+ lbs).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check for insurance-related claims.
• Basic smartphone, email, and technology skills.
• Participation in the on-call board up rotation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead a team of 3–6 employees.
• Develop, coordinate, and manage project schedules from start to completion.
• Coordinate employees, subcontractors, vendors, materials, and other project needs.
• Monitor project progress, labor hours, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate project schedules, expectations, progress, and changes with homeowners and team members.
• Explain construction processes and project expectations to homeowners in a clear and professional manner.
• Ensure work meets John Grace quality and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and utilize company technology and systems.
