Job summary

AKAM Living Services, Inc. is seeking an On-Site Project Manager in New York, NY to oversee a 36-month capital improvement program across seven occupied residential buildings. This full-time, on-site role requires coordinating logistics, resident communications, and field reporting.

Responsibilities include daily site coverage, notices, access coordination, and escalation to the PMG Director. Proficiency in Office, Project, and Monday.com is preferred; travel between buildings is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant on-site project management experience.
• Experience with capital improvement work in occupied NYC residential buildings and knowledge of applicable agencies, permits, inspections, Local Laws, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read drawings, specifications, schedules, and reports to support logistics and escalation without performing technical review.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, and Monday.com.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full-time campus coverage and stay current on active work areas and milestones across seven buildings.
• Prepare detailed daily reports, date-stamped photos, and action logs for trades and manpower.
• Coordinate notices, access, shutdowns, deliveries, and logistics using approved schedules; report delays or conflicts.
