Job summary

AKAM is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate multiple capital improvement projects in occupied New York City buildings. You will lead planning, procurement, construction, and closeout while tracking scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk, with daily interaction among Boards, property management, residents, architects, engineers, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in construction or capital improvements.
• Experience managing residential capital projects in NYC buildings is required.
• Strong report writing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning through closeout for multiple projects.
• Track scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk with stakeholders.
• Lead meetings with Boards, property management, residents, and vendors.
• Prepare updates, minutes, and executive summaries.
• Monitor site conditions, safety, and adherence to timelines.
