Job summary

Atlantic Alumina, operating as Atalco Gramercy, is the sole major alumina refinery in the United States, located in Gramercy, Louisiana. A full-time, on-site Project Manager will lead production, logistics, and facility-improvement projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and safety standards are met.

The role requires strong planning, expediting, inspection, and logistics skills with field supervisory experience. You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, safety and vendor teams on site.

Qualifications

• PM skills including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with expeditor and expediting activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Inspection skills for monitoring work quality, safety standards and specifications.
• Logistics management for coordinating material flow, shipping, receiving and inventory.
• Strong field experience; supervisory roles preferred; engineering degree not required.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or heavy process environments; related backgrounds beneficial.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan project scopes, develop schedules and allocate resources.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, safety and logistics teams.
• Oversee vendor and contractor activities; monitor progress and risks.
• Support expediting, inspection, and document control processes.
• Prepare status reports and maintain project documentation; drive continuous improvement.
