Job summary

iSC Manufacturing, a Burleson, TX-based heavy industrial fabricator, seeks a Project Manager to own projects from PO through final payment. You’ll manage scope, schedule, margins, billing, and customer relationships for custom steel fabrication and heavy equipment.

You will kick off orders, align drawings and submittals, maintain the master schedule across engineering, purchasing, fabrication, paint, inspection and shipping, and issue change orders as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing projects in custom steel fabrication, heavy equipment or industrial manufacturing.
• Read GA and fabrication drawings, BOMs and weld symbols.
• Experience with milestone or progress billing and change orders.
• Working knowledge of an ERP/MRP system (Fulcrum is a plus) and strong Excel and Claude (AI) skills.
• PMP or engineering/construction management degree is a plus.
• Experience supplying EPC firms is a strong plus.
• Bulk material handling background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own your jobs from PO to final payment: schedule, margin, billing and the customer relationship.
• Kick off new orders: confirm scope, drawings, submittals, milestones and ship terms.
• Build and keep the job schedule current across engineering, purchasing, fabrication, paint, inspection and shipping.
• Track actual vs. estimated hours and material, and turn scope changes into approved change orders.
• Trigger milestone billing on time and help keep cash moving.
• Be the customer's single point of contact for status, RFIs, drawing approvals and QC coordination.
• Flag problems early and bring a recovery plan with them.
