Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple on-site lifecycle projects in the Greater Nashville area. You will coordinate with customer teams, manage scope, schedule, and resources, and drive successful deployment and handoff.

Applicants should have 3+ years of project management experience, a BS in Engineering or CS, and be proficient with MS Project and Excel pivot data. Hybrid/onsite work expectations apply.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience
• Experience aggregating data in Excel with pivot tables or LOOKUPs

Responsibilities

• On-site Project Leadership: primary Rockwell Automation point of contact at the customer site for deployment, commissioning, issue resolution, and coordination
• Daily Site Coordination: lead daily site meetings and track actions across teams
• Project Planning & Execution: define scope, deliverables, site schedule, resources and execution plans
• Site Readiness & Deployment Support: coordinate site readiness, safety, layout, infrastructure, training, and deployment logistics
• Issue, Risk & Escalation Management: identify risks and blockers, drive containment, escalate when required
• Project Reporting: provide regular updates including milestones, risks, and financials
• Stakeholder & Customer Management: build relationships with operations, engineering, safety, and leadership
• Budget & Resource Management: support cost control, resource planning, travel coordination, and budget tracking
• Change Management: manage scope changes and communicate impacts
• Problem Solving & Communication: analyze challenges and coordinate cross-functional solutions
• Continuous Improvement: capture lessons learned and propose deployment improvements
