Job summary

Consigli Construction Co. in Milford is seeking a Project Engineer to obtain, distribute and report on critical project information to stakeholders.

The PE will coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and consultants, and serve as the on-site expert for submittals, RFIs, materials, safety documentation, drawing updates, and related project documents. The PE will participate in the Consigli Project Engineer Academy, gaining industry knowledge and networking within Consigli.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering, construction management or architecture.
• Internship experience is a plus.
• Basic understanding of construction, scheduling, budgets, and project documentation.
• Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• OSHA 10/30 preferred; software experience (Procore, Timberline, Primavera) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Document control: manage all project documentation timely and accurately.
• Distribute design changes/updates to project team and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit RFIs; distribute responses to relevant parties.
• Create and manage the submittal log; review for specs compliance.
• Upload safety documentation; coordinate safety walks with teams.
• Track subcontractor insurance certificates and compliance.
• Field reporting: track activities and report to stakeholders.
• Maintain punch lists and coordinate completion; log items.
• Conduct field walks; resolve open items with required parties.
• Safety: conduct regular safety walks and record observations.
• Capture and upload site photos; tag and store in Procore.
• Monitor material deliveries; update delivery log.
• Communicate delays; flag long-lead items and expedite reviews.
• Verify on-site materials match submitted materials.
• Prepare meeting agendas; distribute minutes to stakeholders.
• Report on submittals, RFIs and critical issues.
• Support pre-job and subcontractor safety/quality meetings.
• Interface with client and design team; build relationships.
• Collaborate with team to meet project goals; manage consumables.
