Job summary

Philadelphia Housing Authority is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to provide daily on-site quality control as the owner’s representative on assigned construction projects.

You will prepare daily inspection reports with photographs, review drawings and permits, monitor the master schedule, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. You will support the construction manager and architect through design, construction and closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required and 3+ years of construction project engineering experience requested.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides daily on-site quality control through inspection reports with photos and cross-references to contract docs.
• Monitors master schedule and flags delays or issues affecting project completion.
• Reviews architectural drawings and permit requests for completeness and code compliance.
• Inspects new systems installed by contractors and reports deficiencies.
• Ensures safety measures per OSHA codes on job sites and during rehabilitation projects.
