• Review project schedules, shop drawing submittals, and schedules of values.
• Attend pre-construction and progress meetings, document key discussions, and circulate meeting minutes.
• Act as liaison with contractors, assisting in contract document interpretation.
• Conduct on-site observations of work progress, verifying compliance with plans and specs.
• Maintain detailed project documentation (diaries, logs, drawings, contractor records).
• Report unsatisfactory or defective work to the project engineer.
• Assist in testing, inspections, and start-up activities.
• Review plans for compliance with municipal requirements and prepare improvement cost estimates.
