Granite Construction Inc. seeks a Project Engineer II to support heavy civil projects on-site. You will handle project controls, field engineering, cost tracking, and documentation while coordinating with management and field leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; equivalent technical training and construction experience considered.
• Minimum two years in construction estimating, engineering, or field support with project controls experience.
• Ability to independently manage project engineering responsibilities and documentation.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage project-engineering activities from planning through completion.
• Interpret plans, specs, drawings, and contract requirements for field execution.
• Coordinate layout, measurements, elevations, quantities, and field work.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and reporting; analyze cost trends and risks.
• Coordinate material planning, procurement, and subcontractor activities.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and share best practices.
• Travel to active construction sites as required.
