Job summary

Aleut Federal is seeking a Project Engineer II to provide on-site technical, administrative, and project controls support for assigned construction projects. You will assist the Project Manager and Site Superintendent with planning, scheduling, procurement, and coordination to ensure work aligns with contract requirements and safety standards.

You will help with cost management, scheduling updates, subcontractor coordination, and accurate project documentation, collaborating with clients,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field.
• Experience in construction project controls, scheduling, cost tracking, or closeout.
• Certification or training in AK-CESCL and USACE Quality Control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports Project Manager and Site Superintendent with day-to-day construction operations, coordination, and execution.
• Maintains project communications with management, field staff, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Performs cost tracking, prepares cost reports, and supports project billing and documentation.
• Reviews drawings, specs, and contract documents to identify conflicts and support field execution.
• Maintains project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and quality/control records.
