Job summary

Bering Straits Native Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer for Hanover, MD to support federal construction projects in the Greater Baltimore and DC-Metro regions. The role involves coordinating schedules, reviewing drawings, and managing subcontractor interfaces to keep projects on track and within budget.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction/management with 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or construction/management adjacent fields.
• 1–2 years full-time experience preferred; internship considered.
• Valid driver’s license, U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain access to federal/military installations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with schedules and sequencing of multiple trades.
• Assist Superintendent with look-ahead schedules and coordination with subcontractors.
• Prepare agendas, follow-up, and minutes for meetings; document progress.
• Review drawings and specs with subcontractors; coordinate material deliveries.
• Support project turnover, closeout, and field documentation.
• Promote project safety and ensure OSHA compliance.
