Job summary

Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) seeks an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead federal construction projects from our Hanover, MD office, serving the Greater Baltimore and DC Metro area. You will direct daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors and field staff, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on secure facilities and occupied renovations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED minimum.
• 7+ years as Construction Superintendent on commercial or federal projects.
• Experience managing federal construction projects (USACE/DoD/NAVFAC/GSA).
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades.
• Projects exceeding $500k; secure facilities and interior renovations.
• OSHA 30 Certification; valid driver’s license; U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations on multiple projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Plan activities to maximize efficiency with minimal disruption to occupied sites.
• Conduct daily site meetings and communicate expectations.
• Maintain professional site culture and safety standards.
• Review drawings, specs, and contracts with subs.
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment for project execution.
• Support project turnover and closeout.
