Job summary

Management Solutions, LLC (MSLLC) is seeking a qualified Project Controls Specialist to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Mobile office. This on-site role involves tracking project costs, maintaining schedules, and leading a small project controls team to ensure timely reporting and data integrity.

You will coordinate with the project management team, develop cost and schedule analyses, and present findings to management while ensuring compliance with federal contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 4+ years of project controls experience; 8+ years preferred.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and schedule/variance analysis.
• Cost controls, budget tracking, and performance measurement.
• Knowledge of EVMS principles and CPI/SPI concepts.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office; data presentation.
• Strong analytic, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Leadership experience coordinating project controls across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Track and report project costs; support monthly reporting.
• Lead on-site Project Controls Team; coach and prioritize workloads.
• Maintain data in PROMIS; ensure data integration with DMS.
• Prepare cost and schedule reports; analyze variances.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations for program governance.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and government requirements.
