Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; currently enrolled in a graduate program at WSU in a related field or administrative program.
• Basic understanding of project management lifecycle phases or engineering design workflows.
• Excellent technical written and oral communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to execute tasks independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary research lab environment.
• Capable of standing, walking, and operating standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Program Manager in updating project schedules, tracking milestones, and monitoring action items.
• Organize, archive, and route project data, deliverables, and compliance records.
• Coordinate meeting logistics, prepare agendas, and take accurate meeting minutes for client and research review teams.
• Help compile internal project status metrics, charts, and presentation decks for leadership reviews.
• Serve as internal contact to follow up with multidisciplinary teams on overdue inputs.
• Perform general operational and office administration tasks to support lab operations.
