Job summary

Amperesand is hiring a Production Associate to support prototype-to-production builds for solid-state transformers in a fast-paced startup. You will assemble mechanical and electromechanical subassemblies, follow detailed work instructions, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role emphasizes hands-on fabrication, adherence to schedules, and thorough documentation. On-site work five days a week with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits in the US market.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical work up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Able to read, understand, and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, and safety procedures.
• Willingness to wear required PPE on the production floor.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards.
• Able to follow schedules, prioritize tasks, and meet production deadlines.
• Willingness to complete training and adapt to evolving processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical subassemblies and final transformer units per instructions.
• Execute daily production tasks aligned with schedules and priorities.
• Follow quality control procedures to ensure internal standards and customer requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per 5S standards.
• Handle materials, packaging, and finished units for transfer or shipment.
• Record production data and build logs accurately.
• Support quality investigations and root-cause analysis.
