Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Structures Systems, a forging facility, located at 1600 Harvard Ave., Cleveland, OH, is seeking an Operations Supervisor. You will lead the hourly workforce, ensure safety, meet production goals, and coordinate with schedulers and vendors to maintain smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in heavy manufacturing; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering, or Business; strong communication and interpersonal skills; problem solving and lean manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach hourly workforce to operate safely, meet customer demands, and achieve goals.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions; drive root-cause problem solving.
• Oversee EHS compliance, production records, and shift coordination with planners and vendors.
