Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at our Houston site. The role emphasizes meeting production goals, safety, and timely delivery while driving continuous improvement across shifts.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in supervision, strong leadership, and experience with lean practices, SAP/MRP, and quality systems. This on-site position requires reliability across all shifts and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a supervisory position.
• Must be available to work all shifts and weekends / holidays as required
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day production operations and planning.
• Meet or exceed production goals including output, safety, on-time delivery, and people initiatives.
• Provide leadership, direction and motivation to personnel.
• Conduct training, performance appraisals, and corrective action.
• Manage labor relations and resolve conflicts.
• Schedule and approve overtime and timecards.
• Maintain production and quality records.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives (lean, 5S, standardized work).
• Conduct operational audits to ensure safety, quality, and housekeeping.
