Job summary

ProAmpac in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Production Scheduler to create and maintain detailed production schedules to meet customer needs. This on-site role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and skill in evaluating the impact of changes across machine centers.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and planning teams, review capacity and inventory levels, and adjust schedules for unforeseen conditions.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred and 3+ years of scheduling/manufacturing experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and communication with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, maintain and prepare reports on forecasts, material usage, quality, defects and volumes.
• Review and analyze capacity utilization.
• Handle internal plant transfers of materials and outsourcing activities.
• Gather data to determine forecast adjustments.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and planning teams to adjust schedules.
• Review inventory levels and demand; establish replenishment plans.
• Ensure shipments align with purchase orders and production needs.
• Coordinate with operations on requirements for finished goods.
