Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Production Manager to oversee on-site manufacturing activities at the supplier's Conklin facility. You will ensure production lines meet schedule, quality, and safety standards while coordinating with sub-tier Project Managers and cross-functional teams.

The role requires 5+ years in production management in high-volume or regulated environments, knowledge of Lean manufacturing and shop-floor control, and a degree in engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Production Management or Manufacturing Operations in high-volume or regulated environments.
• Experience with electronic subassemblies, shop-floor management, and data automation; aerospace experience a plus.
• Skills: Lean Manufacturing and Project Management.
• Soft skills: assertiveness, stakeholder management, and excellent communication.
• Availability: 100% on-site at the supplier's facility immediately.

Responsibilities

• Direct Production Oversight & Floor Control: Maintain presence on the production floor to monitor processes and ensure adherence to standards.
• Schedule & Resource Management: Validate timelines considering yield, downtime, and material availability.
• Production Line Capacity & Continuous Improvement: Keep run-at-rate data current and drive capacity expansion actions.
• Supplier PM Support & Cross-Functional Coordination: Bridge communication between teams and suppliers.
• Transparent Reporting: Create weekly dashboards reporting performance and remediation status.
