Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED; higher education preferred.
• 6-7 years of production leadership experience in metal fabrication is a plus.
• Able to operate cranes, tape measure, basic tools and air tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure staff perform their duties safely.
• Review, approve, and process staff clocking and vacation requests daily.
• Follow up with staff daily to encourage or correct transactions.
• Communicate goals for each shift and ensure alignment across teams.
• Ensure staff have materials and training needed to accomplish daily goals.
• Provide floor presence to answer questions and remove hurdles.
• Maintain regular communication with supervisors on other shifts.
