Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Product Manager in Traverse City, MI, to lead cross-functional product development from concept to launch. You will align R&D, Marketing, and Operations to ensure packaging, branding, and production readiness for new products and retail merchandise.

Responsibilities include coordinating timelines, translating R&D outputs into actionable plans, and maintaining comprehensive product briefs to support pricing, margins, and SKU setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in product management, development, operations, or cross-functional project management.
• Strong ability to manage timelines and coordinate across departments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between R&D, Marketing, and Operations for new product initiatives.
• Lead cross-departmental timelines, meetings, and communication for alignment.
• Translate R&D outputs into executable operational and marketing plans.
• Coordinate packaging design and development, including labels, cartons, and secondary packaging.
• Manage vendor coordination for packaging components and approvals.
• Ensure packaging meets regulatory, operational, and brand standards.
• Develop product briefs aligning positioning, requirements, pricing, and SKU setup.
• Track project status, risks, and dependencies across initiatives.
• Ensure clean handoffs to Operations for production readiness.
