SkyChefs, Portland, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source and develop supply chains for specified categories. You will provide ongoing tactical procurement support for product line changes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.

The role requires 1–3 years in purchasing, a working knowledge of SAP, and strong analytical abilities to optimize costs and drive process improvements in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Formación

• Bachelor degree preferred in Purchasing/Supply Chain management.
• 1–3 years purchasing or related field experience required.
• SAP knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating data.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Customer Service Centers and other functions to determine current and future sourcing needs.
• Coordinate best method for fulfilling needs and monitor ongoing effectiveness.
• Address vendor performance issues and analyze alternatives when problems arise.
• Identify and pursue supplier development opportunities benefiting the organization.
• Onboard vendors meeting required qualifications and guide customers toward standardized products.
