SkyChefs is seeking a Procurement Specialist for on-site work in Portland, OR. You will source and develop supply chains for specified categories and provide tactical procurement support for product line changes as required by Lufthansa Services Group.

You will collaborate with Customer Service Centers and other departments to determine sourcing needs, monitor performance, and drive cost reductions through standardization of products. Strong analytical skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 1-3 years purchasing or related field experience
• Bachelor degree preferred
• SAP knowledge preferred
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical skills

• Determine current and future sourcing needs with Customer Service Centers
• Coordinate best method for fulfilling needs and monitor effectiveness
• Address vendor performance issues promptly and analyze alternatives
• Identify supplier development opportunities based on impact/benefits to LSG
• Ensure items are sourced within specifications and price parameters
• Drive cost reductions through standardization and best-cost procurement
• Onboard vendors meeting LSG qualifications
• Guide customers towards standardized products using vendor knowledge
• Support other departments as Procurement specialist
• Exhibit fiscal responsibility in procurement
• Solve problems and drive issues to closure with supervision
