Job summary

Priority Dispatch Corp. is seeking a Process/Project Engineering Co-op to support production lines, work on design projects, and implement improvements. The role involves creating work instructions and AutoCAD layouts while collaborating with process engineers and line leaders to meet safety and production goals.

The co-op runs January to August, Monday through Friday, on-site at the corporate office. Students should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in industrial/mechanical engineering or related

Qualifications

• Student currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Support qualification of manufacturing cells and lines.
• Assist beta and prototype builds and FPA qualification.
• Work with line managers to meet safety, quality and production metrics.
• Identify daily line improvements and justify process changes.
• Troubleshoot assembly line issues with line leaders.
• Create and update work instructions, standard work and sequences.
• Develop production area layouts using AutoCAD and document templates.
• Complete design projects for process engineers and participate in cross-functional teams.
• On-site, full-time co-op from January to August.
