Job summary

Amcor is seeking Plant Process Engineering Co-ops to provide technical support and optimize manufacturing operations across multiple sites in the United States. Co-ops will tackle real issues, install capital equipment, identify root causes of defects, and drive cost savings through waste initiatives.

Successful candidates are actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering, with strong communication, analytical, and time-management skills,

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with manufacturing operations personnel.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must have strong time management skills to handle multiple ongoing projects in addition to day-to-day process problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to improve and optimize manufacturing operations and processes.
• Complete multiple projects throughout the term, solving real issues in the manufacturing environment.
• Assist with installation of capital equipment and identify root causes for defects.
• Contribute to cost savings through waste reduction initiatives.
