Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Two years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or lab environment.
• Experience in investment casting and thermal processing/heat treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust processes that meet or exceed customer requirements for quality and performance of components.
• Drive standardized process management using the scientific method and six sigma tools.
• Write and approve new and revised Activity Instructions and Product Criteria/Work Instructions for assigned area.
• Determine root cause of deviations and develop timely reaction plans with escalation path.
• Monitor yield, labor, and materials data to drive process improvements.
• Provide manufacturing support and ensure process control; train workforce as needed.
• Ensure equipment reliability and PM completion; understand equipment interaction with process.
