Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. LaPorte plant is seeking a Full-time Post Cast Operator to join a team that removes, cleans, cuts and verifies castings in the post cast area.

The role requires reading work instructions, lifting up to 35 pounds, standing for long periods, and basic computer skills. You will perform tasks such as knockout, cutoff, grinding, CNC, and inspection, with opportunities to become certified operators (e.g., autoclave, etch).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• WORKKEYS tests required; pass with Level 4+ on all tests.
• U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available.
• Export-controlled work; eligibility to access such items required.

Responsibilities

• Proficiently perform a minimum of 3 of the following: Knockout, Low Temp/Autoclave, Cutoff/Grinding/CNC/Waterblast/Rework.
• Sandblast/Expediting/Vibratory operations.
• Primary inspection and quality verification of castings.
