Job summary

SJE is hiring a PLC/HMI Programmer for the Madison, WI site to develop PLC code and HMI graphics for municipal water and wastewater control systems. You will work on panels and MCCs built in-house, and perform custom modifications as needed.

The ideal candidate has a 2-year Automation Technology degree and 5+ years of PLC/HMI experience, including Allen Bradley PLCs, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, PanelView, and Wonderware. On-site work only, strong teamwork and communication required.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in Automation Technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in PLC/HMI programming preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC code and HMI graphics for water/wastewater control systems.
• Work on panels and MCCs in-house and perform custom modifications.
• Use Excel to organize programming functions and coordinate with the team.
• On-site work only; engagement with colleagues in Madison, WI.
