Job summary

FirstEnergy is seeking a Lines Planner/Scheduler in Williamsport, MD for a full-time, on-site role. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate operating activities, manage work queues, and support efficiency improvements within the work management system.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or related field, plus 0-1 years of related work (or 3+ years without a degree). Proficiency in SAP, GIS, CREWS, CLICK, PowerOn, CAD, and strong communication are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or related discipline; 0-1 years experience, or 3+ years if no degree.
• Experience with planning/scheduling, prioritizing work, and construction/maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with SAP, GIS, CREWS, CLICK, PowerOn, CAD/AutoCAD; ability to query databases.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule short-range operations center activities; manage work queue and resources.
• Coordinate with teams to establish job start/completion dates and contingency planning.
• Direct daily dispatch and crew assignments using CLICK and related systems.
• Assist in providing technical reports and metrics to ensure compliance with FirstEnergy procedures.
