Qualifications

• Education - bachelor’s degree in engineering technology or related discipline with 0-1 years related work experience; or 2+ years related work experience in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of procedures, work methods, materials, equipment and tools to determine resources for construction and maintenance work is a plus.
• Must work with engineer/management and interface with customers, contractors and public.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and direct a solid commitment to all aspects of safety.
• Assist in planning and scheduling activities, manage the work queue, staffing, equipment, materials, tools, and instructions for overhead/underground lines.
• Develop a firm two-week plan and a one-month projection of activities for management reporting.
• Coordinate work requests to establish start and completion dates.
• Utilize CLICK to create schedules and assign work.
• Provide technical reports and metrics to ensure compliance with FirstEnergy practices.
