Job summary
Global Dynamics LLC is seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to provide comprehensive pharmacy support at Mountain Home Air Force Base. The role supports outpatient operations, prescription processing, dispensing, and inventory management in a medical facility environment.
The ideal candidate has ASHP-accredited technician training, current PTCB and BLS certifications, and US citizenship, with at least 1 year of experience. On-site required, driving may be needed, HIPAA and DoD policies apply.
Qualifications
- Graduate of ASHP-accredited pharmacy technician program or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience after graduation.
- PTCB certification current.
- BLS certification current.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
- Fill outpatient prescriptions and process refills.
- Enter prescription and medication orders into pharmacy databases.
- Assist with patient requests for new and refills.
- Support requests from physicians and other healthcare personnel.
- Monitor prescriptions for potential drug interactions.
- Identify and report adverse drug reactions.
- Inspect medication storage and inventory.
- Prepare workload and reports and documentation.
- Place orders as required and stock shelves.
- Maintain HIPAA and DoD/MTF compliance.
