Job summary

Responsibilities

Pharmacy Technician

Location: Tyndall Air Force Base, FL | Position Type: Full-Time | Compensation: $40,000-$50,000 annually | Work Schedule: TBD based on clinic needs

Position Summary

The Pharmacy Technician provides support to licensed pharmacists at Tyndall Air Force Base, ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications to eligible beneficiaries. This role supports daily pharmacy operations while maintaining compliance with federal, Department of Defense (DoD), and facility policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and fill prescription orders under pharmacist supervision
• Enter and maintain prescription information in electronic medical records
• Operate pharmacy systems and automated dispensing equipment
• Manage medication inventory, storage, and expiration monitoring
• Support daily outpatient pharmacy operations
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and pharmacy procedures

Minimum Qualifications

Conditions of Employment

Work Environment

Clinical healthcare setting within a Military Treatment Facility. Position may require extended periods of standing, medication handling, and working in a fast‑paced environment.
