A.T. Augusta Military Medical Center DIR of Clinical Support, Dept. of Pharmacy, Inpatient Pharmacy, Virginia, seeks a qualified pharmacist for a Direct Hire Authority appointment.

The incumbent will work shifts Monday-Sunday with potential overnights and rotating schedules at the command's discretion. Eligible applicants are U.S. Citizens with specialized experience in pharmaceutical operations, storage, repackaging, and distribution.

About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

The position is within A.T. Augusta Military Medical Center DIR of Clinical Support, Dept. of Pharmacy, Inpatient Pharmacy. The incumbent would work 10 - 8 hour morning or evening shifts Monday-Sunday; Occasional overnights may be required; Shifts would rotate at the commands discretion.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized equivalent to at least the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service which includes basic knowledge of pharmaceutical nomenclature; Characteristics, strengths, and dosage forms of pharmaceuticals; Pharmaceutical systems of weights and measures; and the Variety of procedures and techniques involved in the care, storage, repackaging, bulk compounding, and distribution of pharmaceuticals.
