Lonza in Bend, Oregon seeks an Engineer to own and support pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, including spray dryers, and to collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and reliability teams.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, process, automation, and electrical issues while ensuring lifecycle management and compliance with GMP standards. This role is site-based and focused on safe, high-quality production.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; engineering degree preferred.
• Experience supporting pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing equipment.
• Hands-on experience with capital projects and engineering documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills using structured troubleshooting methods.
• Experience working with vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Working knowledge of automation, controls, or equipment data systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team environment.
• Self-driven, results-oriented professional with ownership and accountability in fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Own and support pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, including spray dryers.
• Provide hands-on engineering support across manufacturing, quality, and reliability teams.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, process, automation, and electrical issues safely.
• Act as a subject matter expert for equipment performance and lifecycle management.
• Support capital projects from design through commissioning and qualification.
• Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and maintainability.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and GMP guidelines.
