Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems LLC is seeking a People Operations Business Partner to provide hands-on, on-site HR support across manufacturing, engineering, and operations. You’ll work closely with Senior People Business Partners and leaders to deliver practical HR solutions in a fast-paced environment.

This on-site role requires strong judgment, discretion, and relationship-building to address employee relations, performance, and staffing changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of progressive HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with employee relations, performance management, and coaching.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Senior People Business Partners to support a large employee population.
• Be a first point of contact for routine HR questions and escalate complex issues.
• Maintain strong visibility by spending time in assigned work areas.
• Support onboarding, promotions, transfers, and offboarding activities.
• Assist with engagement, retention, and communications initiatives.
