Job summary

RiverTech, an Akima company, seeks a dedicated Personnel Security Assistant to support the Joint Staff Security Office (JSSO) at The Pentagon. The role focuses on processing security clearances, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

This on-site position requires TS clearance eligibility, three years of relevant experience, and strong communication and organizational abilities to support federal security programs and IT systems.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in a security or related field.
• TS Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Working knowledge of U.S. Government Personnel Security Programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain personnel security files and ensure records are up-to-date.
• Enforce PERSEC policies in line with Federal, DoD, and organizational requirements.
• Process packages for inbound personnel, initiate and complete eApp actions and background investigations.
• Prepare personnel files, update forms and records, and verify clearances.
